To the Historic Round Barn, a beautiful and unique Montana wedding venue space and accommodations.

The Round Barn in Twin Bridges Montana is located at the base of the Tobacco Root mountain range, surrounded by fields and land that was home to Lewis and Clark for several weeks during their historic expedition.  A few miles to the west is the confluence of four of Montana’s most famous fly fishing rivers.  It is on the route for those traveling between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park.  It is just down the road from Virginia City, Montana’s first Territorial Capitol and America’s best preserved Gold Rush Era town.

The Round Barn at Twin Bridges is like no other, not only in the Ruby Valley, but in all of Montana.  In preserving this Montana treasure we are suited to not only host weddings and large gatherings, but smaller meetings or retreats as well.  Learn more about our event space here.

OUR ACCOMMODATIONS

We offer two newly renovated cabins a short walk from the Big Hole River and a fifteen minutes drive from the barn. They offer a lovely space to prepare for your wedding day as well as a beautiufl backdrop for photos. Overnight rental is available when booking the barn. 

THINGS TO DO

There is so much to do in Southwest Montana. From fly fishing the Great Ruby River, floating the Jefferson Rivers, horseback riding, and hiking, there are many great activities it enjoy in our area. Only a couple hours to Yellowstone National Park, and several historic ghosts towns, you and your guests can make a memorable vacation from your event. Learn more below.

THE HISTORY

The Round Barn was built in 1882 for the Doncaster Stable and Stud farm.  The Barn, complete with an interior circular track, was home to both champion thoroughbreds and trotters.  Now, the barn has been beautifully preserved and restored for all of your entertaining needs.  Learn more about the barn's history here.
